The JYTEK PXI-63980 PXI embedded controller, based on the second generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor is specifically designed for hybrid PXI based testing systems, delivering a rugged yet stable platform for a wide variety of testing and measurement applications.

 

Combining state-of-the-art 2.1 GHz quad-core Intel® Core™ i7-2715QE processors (3.0 GHz maximum in single-core, Turbo Boost mode), and up to 16 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 memory, the PXI-63980 utilizes four separate computing engines on a single processor, enabling execution of numerous independent tasks simultaneously.

 

The JYTEK PXI-63980 provides ample interface flexibility, including dual USB 3.0 connections for high speed peripheral devices, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, with one for LAN connection and the other for controlling LXI instruments, four USB 2.0 ports for peripheral devices and USB instrument control, and a Micro-D GPIB connector for GPIB instrument connection, for hybrid PXI-based testing systems control.

 

 

 

PXI-63980 is JYTEK’s first quad-core PXI embedded controller featuring the high-performance Intel® Core™ i7-2715QE 2.1 GHz processor, with up to 16 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 memory, for seamless execution in multitasking environments and reduced test times. 

 

 

 

The JYTEK PXI-63980’s innovative structure delivers high availability in reliable testing systems, include adopting dual BIOS backup, allowing, in the event of a main BIOS crash, the secondary BIOS to boot the system and recover the main BIOS, reducing maintenance costs and efforts. 

 

 

 

The JYTEK PXI-63980 provides multiple interface choices for connecting and controlling a wide variety of standalone instruments, including two display ports supports for VGA + DVI, dual GbE ports, GBIP, and trigger I/O for advanced PXI trigger functions. The PXI-63980 also includes four USB 2.0 ports and dual hi-speed USB 3.0 ports for connection to storage, easily accessing data from system controllers with limited built-in data storage size, and securing data with no storage damage issues. JYTEK provides the option of either a pre-installed HDD or Intel® 520 Series SSD for unequaled performance and reliability.
